Primary Education is a stage whose fundamental objective is to develop as much as possible the integral learning of the student. The educational process follows an innovative learning model based on projects, challenges, collaborative learning techniques and bilingualism. This whole process is done by helping students in the development of their social and emotional skills.
COOPERATIVE LEARNING
Cooperative learning is a successful teaching strategy in which small teams, each with students of different levels of ability, use a variety of learning activities to improve their understanding of a
subject. Each member of a team is responsible not only for learning what is taught but also for helping team mates learn, thus creating an atmosphere of achievement.
Students feel responsible for their own and the group’s effort. Group members gain direct instruction in the interpersonal, social, and collaborative skills needed to work with others.
BILINGUAL PROYECT
At our school, we believe that learning English as a second language is essential for our students’ future. It will ensure their complete integration in today’s globalised world, open doors to new ideas and cultures, and also build tolerance and awareness.
Our program utilizes CLIL methodology (Content and Language Integrated Learning). Different subjects are taught through a foreign language with two simultaneous goals: the acquisition of subject-specific content and knowledge and the use of a foreign language as a means of communication.
In Pre-Primary, students study Arts in English.
In Primary School students study Natural Sciences, Physical Education and Arts in English.
